Job description:

Recruiting tomorrow’s Army today. Recruiting Group runs Assessment Centres (AC) for Regular and Reserve Officer and Soldier candidates, which must be passed before applicants are offered a Basic Training place. This is a dual role position and as such are required to carry out baseline medical tests in line with accepted policies and procedures. These would usually include (but no be limited to) audiometry, ECG, eyesight testing, colour vision, height and weight measurement, body mass index, urinalysis, and spirometry (lung functions). Additionally, they would be required to carry out administrative tasks such as post pick up, scanning, data input, pre-employment checks and management of health care records. The role is based at Pirbright Assessment Centre. Hours of work will be, Monday to Thursday at 8:15am - 5pm and Friday at 8am - 12:30pm. Or Monday to Thursday at 8am - 4pm and Friday at 8am - 1pm. You will required to work 1 Friday afternoon and full day Saturday a month which can be claimed back in time off in lieu. You do not need previous medical/clinical experience in order to carry out this role. We would be looking for the successful candidate to start in January 2025.

Evaluating fairly using a detailed marking guide to grade candidates accurately and providing a supportive and encouraging atmosphere throughout the assessment process. This role will involve working a shift pattern of 37.5 hours per week onsite. This will include overnight chaperone and ‘on call’ duties once per week. You will be expected to work one weekend per month, which includes a Saturday and Sunday. The successful candidate will start in January 2025.

Purpose of the role: RPP Finance Business Partner Hybrid – travel to Upavon Trenchard Lines (once every two weeks) Competitive Salary and Bonus We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join our Recruiting Partner Project (RPP) finance-based team. You’ll have had specific responsibility for looking after the technology and project and transformation cost centres. You’ll provide 'real time' support and analysis, be a trusted adviser and add value that will assist in decision making. Successful candidates will ideally be a qualified accountant. The experience you’ll get from this role will be a good commercial grounding as well as working in an interesting environment with significant national importance, you’ll get lots of interaction with the client. The team meet at least every quarter, for volunteer days, team events and you’ll need to travel to Upavon at least once every two weeks. Car required (no public transport) BPSS clearance will be required
