The Fire Service College: Where excellence meets resilience at the ultimate training ground for firefighting professionals.
The Asset and Supplier Relationship role will be responsible for managing and optimising the relationships with our suppliers and overseeing the lifecycle of our assets.
You will ensure that the College remains compliant with statutory requirements, supporting the provision of first-class equipment as an enabler to deliver a sector leading training experience to our delegates and clients.
Job Description
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the Head of Operational Support in the acquisition, maintenance, and disposal of Fire Service College assets.
- Ensuring accurate tracking and documentation of all assets.
- Managing supplier KPI’s and contracts
- Implementing asset management processes to optimise asset utilisation and reduce costs.
- Conducting regular asset audits and assessments
- Liaising with suppliers to organise deliveries
- Working closely with internal teams to understand their asset and supplier need
What we’re looking for:
- Background in supply chain management
- An understanding of procurement would be highly beneficial
- Eye for detail
- Excellent MS Excel spreadsheet management skills
- Strong communicator
This role requires attention to detail with excellent communication skills and a background in contract management.
