The Army Officer Selection Board (AOSB) run selection boards which must be passed before applicants are offered a place at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. The role of the Administrators based at Westbury is to provide local support to Boards, and to liaise with the Officer Recruiter Team, Officer Project Manager, the National Recruiting Centre teams supporting Officer recruitment at Upavon and the Candidate to ensure candidates are efficiently booked onto the events.

Job Description

What you’ll be doing:

  • Carrying out general administration duties
  • Preparation and delivery of Briefing folders for Assessors
  • Producing accommodation list for all candidates and notify of early arrivals.  Re-allocate candidates to groups if fall out, and advise any changes
  • Supporting the management of candidates during selection events
  • Supporting the Board in producing letters to candidates attending each Board,
  • Obtain and collate feedback from candidates attending events

What we’re looking for:

  • Ability to work in a team and independently
  • Must have strong attention to detail
  • Previous administration experience would be an advantag
  • Competent using Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workloads
  • Clear and confident communication skills, both face to face and over the telephone
