Transform procurement to support improvement initiatives and save costs
Our flexible procurement transformation programmes are designed to put you in the right position to reduce costs and improve the value you derive from suppliers and partners.
Our services – which include the option to create a self-funded programme - can be applied to any area including procurement strategy, structure, talent, process, policy and technology, either as a full transformation programme or focused on one specific area.
We incorporate the latest procurement best practice, applying our breadth of expertise gained from the diverse range of clients we serve.
Supporting your strategic aims
Our innovative commercial models help you accelerate your ambitions and business strategy in diverse areas, from talent development to organisation design, to technology and system optimisation.
De-risked programmes
We’re experienced in helping develop and provide a compelling business case, backed by clear ROI, so it de-risks any client or executive board concerns.
No procurement budget needed
Although many clients don’t start with a procurement budget, we help you achieve the required funding in short timeframes, using technology as a key enabler and providing delivery resources to accelerate procurement savings for re-investment.
Fast, measurable impact
We’re great believers in seeing results quickly as this helps us demonstrate our capability whilst building trust and stakeholders’ confidence. As an outcome-led organisation we’re continually focused on improving client experience.
We can combine our transformation and savings delivery services to create a self-funded programme that delivers net benefit to the bottom line and to improvement initiatives, including:
Organisation design & implementation
Process & policy build
Talent development & recruitment
Environmental, social & governance
Technology & system optimisation
Putting information at employees’ fingertips
We’re helping a European manufacturer to transform procurement, drive cost efficiencies, save 7% of indirect spend so far, and provide employees with better operational insights and information.
Supporting improved patient care
With a new procurement service, Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust improved health care for 2 million people, saved £millions, and helped employees to be more effective.
Organisational design & implementation
We review and work on your organisation's strategy to establish and agree a shared vision, with goals and objectives which include a detailed diagnostic of spend.
Our teams complete a review and maturity assessment of your organisation’s structure, resulting in a detailed target operating model for a new service with key implementation milestones. These will include clear roles and responsibilities, governance and processes to guarantee successful performance.
Process & policy build
We work with you to review your process and policy documentation, and update these in line with current regulations and best practice.
We put effective and logical processes at the foundation of your procurement function to ensure legislative compliance and promote understanding across your organisation. We help you devise a procurement policy specific to your needs -rather than a generic policy - to enable all departments involved in procurement to be governed by the same rules and guidelines.
Talent development & recruitment
Key to successful procurement transformation is a specialist, expert workforce who can advise and support stakeholders whilst continually striving for best practice and improving ways of working.
We focus on the continuous development of your internal procurement professionals with upskilling, networking and market awareness. This not only helps the business, but also supports retention, minimising recruitment costs. If you need to benefit from external recruitment, we can help you source specific subject matter expertise.
Environmental, social & governance (ESG)
Our environmental, social and governance (ESG) diagnostic supports clients to benchmark current maturity against key standards and develop realistic goals aligned to business objectives.
We help you monitor ESG performance (including carbon reporting) with bespoke business intelligence (BI) tools and support you to deliver your ESG objectives via a wide range of procurement interventions, including smarter tendering and contracting, supplier relationship management, policy development, and the delivery of energy-efficient projects.

Capita recently led a global enterprise resource planning (ERP) procurement exercise for a leading and prestigious global financial brand. This comprised taking a concept idea through to helping our client to build a transformation business case whereby they would reduce their system applications from 39 applications to one leading solution.
Our experienced technology consultants developed and delivered the market request for information and request for proposal (RFI and RFP). We achieved this by integrating every element of the process, including the stakeholders, the panel selection, the contract award and the system integration partner. We also led the implementation of the selected integrated global solution for the organisation’s finance, HR & procurement functions.
We’re proud to have received a Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) award for the quality of our programme delivery and the outcomes achieved for our client.
