The challenge
Following Sharecare’s launch in Brazil and making the digital platform available in a language other than English for the first time, the company was looking for a teletriage solution to help it deliver care coordination to its members.

Our teletriage solution is now used to provide services to leading health insurers and large employers in Brazil. In 6 months from the launch of Sharecare’s Ligue Saúde teletriage service it has helped by:
- signposting and advising patients to the most appropriate level of care resulting in a reduction of 73.8% E.R. utilization and reducing costs by 67.9%
- reducing inappropriate ambulance dispatches by 24.2% and saving 23.5% of the costs that would have been incurred
- saved approximately US$860,000 through the Ligue Saúde nurse teletriage
