Ormiston Academies Trust (OAT) has awarded Capita Managed IT Solutions a four-year ICT Services Framework contract, offering the Trust’s academies the option to procure a range of cost-effective outsourced ICT services.
OAT has a head office based in Birmingham and comprises of 34 primary and secondary academies spread across the UK, with regional hubs in the north, south, east and west.
The framework covers all aspects of the Trust’s ICT services, from its academies network management, email, storage, security, software and hardware management to IT support services, consultancy and advice. All academies in the group can now choose to purchase these Capita services via the ICT framework.
Initially, three academies will use the framework to outsource their ICT Managed Service, with Capita managing all aspects of their ICT provision. The first of these projects commenced in December 2017, and other academies have the option to benefit from the ICT framework as their current managed service agreements come to end-of-term.
