While many of us are coming to terms with a ‘new norm’, we remain committed to creating a workforce that reflects the diversity of the communities we serve, and a working environment where everyone’s views matter and no one feels excluded.
Now more than ever, at a time when we are separated from our family and friends, it is important to celebrate our differences, how far we’ve come as a society to ensure equality for all but also recognising there is still more to do.
At Capita, with over 61,000 colleagues across the world, we have a wide range of thoughts, beliefs and ideas that help us deliver on our purpose – to create better outcomes for our clients, our people, our communities and environment.
We want to celebrate our differences, raise awareness of key issues, and to make sure we’re always learning from, listening to and incorporating diversity of thought into everything we do.
That’s why we celebrate Pride at Capita. It’s not about changing to a rainbow logo once a year. It is about listening and responding to the needs of our LGBTQ+ colleagues all year round - reflecting these in our policies, procedures and ways of working. It’s about creating a safe space where our colleagues feel they can share their lived experiences, be active role models and feel like they can bring their whole selves to work. We want to make sure Capita is a place where our people are proud to work and marking Pride is one of the ways in which we are raising awareness and celebrating diversity.
