The new business insurance is provided in partnership with Capita Specialist Insurance Solutions and allows Constructionline and Acclaim members to verify their business with greater ease.
The insurance services on offer are selected specifically for SMEs operating in the building industry and include: public liability; employers’ liability; tools cover and goods in transit together with a 24-hour business legal advice line.
The partnership will bring competitive quotes from leading insurance providers such as Allianz, Aviva, Hiscox and Covea to ensure members get real value for money. The platform allows suppliers to be notified by Constructionline via email when renewal dates on their existing policies are approaching, provides a simple ‘Click to Buy’ website and phone number for quotes, and automatically updates members’ details without requiring additional proof of cover.
All insurances are underwritten by A rated insurers, highlighting the strength and reliability of the product. The benefits to tradesmen include up to £5m public liability protection, a 24- hour UK claims line and a variety of add on options, allowing tradesmen to tailor the product to their needs.
