Alliance Manchester Business School (AMBS) has partnered with Capita to support its Vital Topics and London Network initiatives.

The partnership will see the FTSE-250 listed business services group support AMBS’ Vital Topics, a series of lectures bringing together senior business leaders and public figures to discuss some of the most complex challenges facing organisations today.

AMBS has hosted Vital Topics for the last three decades, bringing powerful ideas and original thinking to audiences from across the UK. Past speakers have included Joanne Roney, chief executive of Manchester City Council; Sir Terry Leahy, former Tesco chief executive, and Lord Jim O’Neill, former Treasury minister and chief economist at Goldman Sachs, widely known for coining the phrase ‘BRICs’ for the emerging economies of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.

As part of the partnership, Capita will also support the University of Manchester’s London Network series, a programme dedicated to bringing alumni based in London together to engage in stimulating discussions on topical issues and contemporary debates.

Ismail Amla, Capita’s Chief Growth Officer, said: “We’re excited to continue the development of our relationship with leading institutions such as AMBS. The quality of research and thinking is world-class and this partnership underlines Capita’s commitment to original research”.

Capita is a consulting, digital services and software business, delivering innovative solutions and simplifying the connections between businesses and customers, governments and citizens.

AMBS is the UK’s largest campus-based business and management school.
