Each of our different schemes is based on, and within, a key part of our business, so you can immerse yourself in what we do and how we do it. You’ll have time allocated to learn the technical or specialist elements of the apprenticeship and then apply this to your day job. Plus, you’ll be supported in your personal and professional development in areas such as presentation skills, interpersonal skills, self-awareness and communication where appropriate.
You’ll have access to a buddy and apprentice coach, as well as support from your line manager and the apprentice peer community. These are permanent roles where you’ll be paid a competitive apprenticeship salary. Find out more about our apprenticeship schemes below:
Digital tech consultant apprenticeship
What’s involved
- Level 6 digital and tech degree apprenticeship
- three years
- requirements: 3 x A levels with grade BBC /112 UCAS points & GCSE Grade 4 English & Maths
- applications open later in the year
Business associate apprenticeship
What’s involved:
- Level 3 business associate apprenticeship
- 18 months
- GCSE Grade 4 English & Maths desirable, but not essential
- applications open later in the year

- a buddy to show you around, answer any questions you may have and act as a general support
- a mentor outside of your business area who is open, objective and direct with you about your career goals, work-related issues, work-life balance and development or training advice.
All our positions are permanent and once your apprenticeship scheme finishes, you’ll be able to use the knowledge and skills you’ve gained within the business itself.

Step 1 - apply
The first step is to apply online and answer some eligibility questions. You’ll fill in an online form and have the option to add a CV, although it’s not necessary.
Step 2 – take part in the game-based assessment
If you meet our eligibility requirements, you’ll go through a game-based assessment created by our partner Arctic Shores. It’s designed to give everyone a fair, unbiased chance to do well when applying and helps us find out more about you as well as how you learn. You’ll get to see your results too, so you can see where your strengths lie.
Step 3 – take part in the virtual assessment event
If you reach the final stage of our process, we’ll invite you to a virtual assessment event, which will last a couple of hours. This is a great opportunity for you to find out more about Capita and the areas you’ll be working in. It’ll also give you the chance to meet some of your potential future peers. If you’re selected to take part in one of these sessions, we’ll provide you with all the information you need prior to the day!
Step 4 – apprenticeship offer and onboarding
If you’re successful at your virtual assessment event, you’ll be made a conditional offer and your onboarding process will start. We’ll also give you your start date and get you enrolled on your qualification.
