As a Full Stack Developer, you are responsible for the technical aspects of the team’s development activities. In addition to carrying out software development work, you will contributing to strategic thinking and guidance on new features, platform updates, new client implementations and custom projects. You will work collaboratively with a small team of developers to help implement the technical direction for a growing product team.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Developing Tessello and Waveform – Develop platform functionality and updates including minor fixes, new features, architecture and performance improvements. Review and improve scalability and technical debt. Input on the product roadmap.
- Input on overall technology approach – With the support of the Lead Developer and wider product team, ensure Tessello development adopts modern approaches, follows best practice principles, and adheres to company and industry standards.
- Supporting the full development process – You will be involved from initial requirements gathering through to deployment. You will need to comment on proposals, research the best approach, design tech specs, create time estimates, and maintain documentation.
- Improving dev team ways of working – We are a growing, busy team constantly developing our ways of working, using agile-waterfall hybrid methodologies. You will identify efficiencies and process improvements to keep the team productive and happy.
- Delivering technical aspects of projects – You will liaise directly with clients for the technical aspects of projects and collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure development work is on time, on budget and meets requirements.
