Capita has a new opportunity to join our Team as a Senior Product Owner – Digital.

The Senior Product Owner – Digital will be responsible for leading the businesses Digital Strategy. Working alongside both internal and external senior stakeholders to drive forward the growth and development of TV Licensing’s Digital offering.

The successful candidate will act as the lead ‘Subject Matter Expert’ (SME) for business change across web, IVR, SMS, Identifying future opportunities to develop self-service and omni-channel solutions.

This is a full-time fixed term (18 months FTC) role, offering hybrid working arrangements (office working assigned to our Darwen office).

Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of TV Licensing’s Digital strategy.
  • Work alongside the Digital Delivery Manager to develop and own delivery plans to support the Digital strategy.
  • Use influencing skills to drive forward the delivery of the strategy, understanding wider business challenges and priorities.
  • Act as lead SME on for all business change – ensuring a ‘Digital First’ approach wherever appropriate.
  • Demonstrate an excellent understanding of Digital channel performance.
  • Lead on the prioritisation of Digital projects, working alongside prioritisation of wider business change projects.
  • Lead on Digital Innovation projects, ensuring TV Licensing’s offering reflects the evolution in customer behaviour.
  • Working alongside the Digital Delivery Manager to ensure Digital projects are fully costed and supported with clear measurable benefits.
  • Work alongside Finance and Resource Planning functions to ensure a joined-up approach to benefits realisation.

What you’ll need to bring:

  • Ability to manage and co-ordinate requests from both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Able to prioritise work across the team and wider business.
  • Extensive knowledge of digital products and services, and Digital ‘Subject Matter Expert’.
  • Successful track record in relationship management and experience of working with senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills and experience of team management.
