We are looking for someone to join our Data team. The primary focus of the role is to bring technical experience and lead on key projects to ensure they are completed in line with procedural and client requirements and within service level agreements and to provide a continually improving level of customer service in terms of quality, cost and time.

You will have experience of working on a variety of pension data projects and have excellent pensions technical knowledge. In return Capita Pensions Solutions will give you a clear succession plan to further your career.

Job Description

What you’ll be doing:

  • To work with the Pensions Technicians, Pensions Technician Specialists, Data Service Delivery Manager and Client Relationship Managers to deliver requirements for projects within KPIs (time scales, deliverables, quality, sign off) and guide the planning process.
  • To ensure accuracy and quality of data projects.
  • To understand, build, maintain and enhance customer relationships representing the department in key meetings with internal and external project stakeholders.
  • To build, maintain and enhance the team’s competence in order to improve delivery of the customer experience and to ensure we treat customers fairly.
  • To keep up to date with the latest technical and legislative changes and ensure these are embedded within the team.
  • Regularly review the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and controls and make suggestions to continually enhance service delivery, improve processes and reduce potential complaints and business risks.
  • To support and assist the management team where required in all aspects of service delivery and business support.
  • To be accountable for client requirements being met by the operation.

What we’re looking for:

  • Can identify and explain the difference between DB/DC/Hybrid pension schemes.
  • Can understand and explain how scheme rules impact GMP benefits.
  • Can identify and explain the difference between DB/DC/Hybrid pension schemes and the impact that this may have on the data.
  • Can understand, interpret and explain scheme rules correctly.
  • Can use knowledge and experience to support, coach and train team and can demonstrate ongoing development of the team.
  • PMI Qualifications
  • Client management skills
  • Can demonstrate management of administration platforms including pension member records
  • Ability to understand, interpret and input into project plans.
