Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for driving projects to success? Capita is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to oversee and manage projects and teams on a daily basis. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that project objectives are clearly defined and met within the agreed time, cost, and quality constraints.
As a key player in project governance, you will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver agreed project outputs and realize benefits. This full-time, field-based position is initially located in Glasgow, with potential travel requirements as needed.

Job Description
What you'll be doing:
Oversee On-Site Implementation: Manage the execution of pre-agreed designs for client buildings.
Daily Operations Management: Ensure projects are completed successfully, meeting time, budget, and quality constraints.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all project work adheres to building and security regulations, health and safety legislation, and other legal requirements.
Delay Management: Handle any unforeseen delays promptly and efficiently.
Security Oversight: Due to the secure nature of the sites, ensure all staff and visitors are security cleared and the site is informed of all changes by liaising with the end client or security department.
Weekly Review Meetings: Organize and chair weekly review meetings with the Electranet project team.
Baseline Management Products: Prepare baseline management products in collaboration with project assurance roles and agree on them with the Lead or Senior Project Manager.
Design Approval: Prepare, submit, and gain approval for detailed low-level designs in a timely manner.
What we’re looking for:
Minimum of 5 years experience working within the telecommunication environment as a Project Manager, and experience as an Engineer
Excellent knowledge of Structured Cabling Installation Cat6A, multi-mode and single-mode cabling
Excellent knowledge of cabling containment systems
An understanding of Equipment Room construction and electrical and mechanical installation
Excellent communication skills
Excellent IT skills to include the MS suite of products and MS Project
Excellent financial budget control
Ability to qualify for SC Clearance
