We are seeking a dedicated Lead Operations Trainer to oversee the strategic and operational delivery of all non-clinical training across multiple Capita Health & Welfare (H&W) contracts. This role involves leading, managing, and supporting the Learning & Development Operations Trainers while collaborating with the wider non-clinical Learning & Development team to provide effective learning interventions across various business areas.

As the Lead Operations Trainer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing L&D solutions for all non-clinical aspects to meet business objectives and needs, including pipeline requirements and projects/change initiatives. You will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure the training service is effective, efficient, and compliant with relevant governance, quality assurance, and evaluation practices. Your leadership and expertise will be essential in driving the success of our non-clinical training programs.

This is a fixed-term contract opportunity.

Job Description

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead and manage the Health & Welfare (H&W) Operations Trainers.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective design and delivery of quality non-clinical resources and interventions

  • Undertake the facilitation and delivery of approved Non-Clinical L&D interventions

  • Effectively maintain the training resources for Non-Clinical Health & Welfare contracts ensuring they are up to date and fit for purpose

  • Complete impact assessments on behalf of Non-Clinical Learning & Development for key strategic projects and change initiatives

  • Support the delivery of the Non-Clinical SLAs and KPIs of the Health & Welfare contracts, ensuring the training targets are consistently achieved

  • Manage the impact of internal and customer-driven change initiatives for Non-Clinical Learning & Development

What we’re looking for:

  • Understanding of learning and development principles

  • Demonstrated success in designing and delivering learning and development material

  • Ability to gather and interpret data (including Training Needs Analysis) to evidence quality, achievements and continuous improvements required

  • Experience in managing teams with strong leadership capabilities

  • Personal Independence Payments (PIP) Knowledge and background highly desirable

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work in partnership with key stakeholders
