Tascor Services are a Capita organisation who provide a full range of Facilities Management services to the Police, NHS and Fire Emergency services.

We are seeking a Caretaker to support our services at Kings Lynn Investigation Centre, Norfolk.

The Caretaker will be responsible for cleaning and maintenance on site, working shifts Sunday-Thursday and Tuesday-Saturday.

Job Description

What you'll be doing :

  • Conducting cleaning in custody areas to ensure detainee welfare and support organisation in maintaining high standards of cleaning and hygiene.
  • Using specialist equipment and chemicals to clean alongside vacuuming and mopping floors and use of floor machines.
  • Supporting the site manager in general maintenance activities including planned and reactive works to ensure compliance and day to day running of site.
  • Providing routine maintenance, including minor repairs and construction, so that satisfactory upkeep of police properties, including custody areas.

What we're looking for :

  • Someone who takes pride in what they do, you need a willingness to learn, the ability to work alone and as part of a team.
  • Ability to effectively plan and prioritise daily cleaning tasks.
  • A reasonable level of fitness to suit the requirements of the role.
  • Experience in a similar cleaning or caretaking role would be ideal but not essential.

Please note - due to the nature of this role and the security vetting level required candidates are required to have been living in the UK as a resident for the last 3 years.
