Capita Managed IT Solutions has extended its contract to provide IT support and services to Young Enterprise Northern Ireland, following a highly successful first year of the partnership.

Through the new 12-month agreement, Capita will provide advice on IT infrastructure, desktop support and technical support services for Young Enterprise’s offices throughout Northern Ireland.

The strategic partnership secures investment from Capita for Young Enterprise and demonstrates Capita’s commitment to IT education, the charity sector, and mentoring in Northern Ireland. Capita will provide a dedicated Client Service Manager, helpdesk and hardware support, on-site engineer visits, Microsoft Windows and Office 365 support, and anti-virus and patching services.

Young Enterprise NI is a business education charity delivering enterprise programmes in primary and post-primary schools. It helps more than 90,000 young people aged 4-25 each year to understand how business works by delivering its programmes in schools and colleges throughout the country.

Carol Fitzsimons MBE, CEO of Young Enterprise NI, said: “Our partnership with Capita over the past 12 months has been hugely successful, not only in providing reliable IT support, but also contributing to our business education programmes across Northern Ireland.

Young Enterprise NI and our clients have particularly benefited from Capita’s technical expertise in the areas of cyber security and anti-virus protection, offering us peace-of-mind in knowing that our IT infrastructure is safe, secure and reliable. We are looking forward to working with Capita over the next 12 months to build on the successes of our first year of partnership.”
