As Capita progresses with its transformation strategy and plan, it has created the new role of Chief Growth Officer and is pleased to announce the appointment of Ismail Amla, with effect from 1st December 2018.
As Chief Growth Officer, Ismail will join the Executive Committee and report to Jon Lewis, Chief Executive Officer.
Ismail joins Capita from IBM where he was Managing Partner of IBM Global Services (North America), the company’s professional services division and the world’s largest consulting organisation.
Prior to IBM, Ismail was CEO at Capco (North America), a global business and technology consultancy, and a member of Capco’s Global Executive Management Team. Before this, Ismail was a Partner at Accenture where he held various leadership roles in Europe. For his last five years at the consultancy, he was a member of the Accenture UK leadership team. He also served as Vice President at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), an American multinational corporation providing IT and professional services.
In his new role at Capita, Ismail will support Capita’s transformation and organic growth plans, including the simplification of the company’s business development and marketing; and, drive change in the company’s sales model.
