Capita plc has announced the appointment of Steve Fearon as the new digital growth director for its software division and managing director of its Healthcare Decisions business.
Steve joins Capita from Oracle where he held several senior sales management roles across the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa. He has extensive experience across database and platform technologies, enterprise business and cloud applications. Most recently, he was responsible at Oracle for software-as-a-service (SaaS) enterprise applications for SME companies across Europe.
Steve’s experience in digital sales transformation is important for Capita Software as it accelerates market opportunities and provides cloud-based solutions and services to its public and private sector customers.
As managing director of Capita Healthcare Decisions, Steve will continue to drive forward the digitisation of healthcare for public and private healthcare providers. Solutions provided include telephone and pandemic triage, automated communications and clinical content. In the last 12 months alone, Capita has worked with 80 per cent of NHS organisations across the UK.
