We are seeking a Product Analyst to Support our product consultants and broader product development teams in the creation, management and execution of a product development plans to include the full range of CPS products.
You will be working with relevant product consultants and proposition leads they will support the development of standard, modular and repeatable solutions, that can be tailored and deployed into customer opportunities across Capita Public Services and beyond. Day to day you will be producing detailed and focused analysis of our capabilities (existing or proposed) against the market, through both a customer and competitor lens, developing solutions to challenges identified.
This is a home based role.
Job Description
What you'll be doing :
- Support the product consultants and broader product development teams in the creation, management and execution of a product development plans to include the full range of CPS products.
- Help to implement a product management approach that aids the Business Unit to deliver its business plan making optimal use of innovative and emerging technology.
- Produce detailed and targeted analysis of our capabilities (existing or proposed) against the market, through both a customer and competitor lens.
- Innovation – drive innovation in our approach to product design and management
- Adopt and enhance the product development process, along with associated tooling, to ensure a consistent, focused and predictable approach to product development
- To ensure compliance with the relevant authorisation and control processes are in place for product lifecycle, ensuring implementation and monitoring the levels of compliance against Capita Policies and Standards
- Ensue the prioritisation and co-ordination of workflow for your product area on a ongoing basis
- Ongoing vendor alignment to capture, latest releases, updates, pricing and technology roadmaps
What we're looking for :
- Demonstrable knowledge of product (or business/solution) analysis within a similar organisation
- Developed skills and knowledge across the Capita proposition areas
- Good understanding of technology trends and how they affect Capita and our customers, develop a detailed understanding of Capita solutions and services, which must inform our product roadmap.
- Evidence of experience of working on multi-technology, innovative, cost competitive and repeatable products or solutions
- Demonstrate an understanding of the bigger picture of how our team fits into the broader organisation and articulate how the function should align and integrate to positively contribute
- Able to work autonomously aligned with broad direction
- Outcome driven against targets, strong focus on execution, “getting things done”
- Proactive and collaborative approach to working with colleagues and clients
- Able to manage competing priorities for individual work activities to deliver against agreed priorities and deadlines, escalating if required
