Since 2012, Capita have been working in partnership with the British Army to deliver best in class recruitment services. The partnership is responsible for attracting, sourcing, and selecting officers and soldiers for the Army (Regular and Reserve), meeting targets for quantity, quality and candidate experience.

The position involves supporting the delivery, enhancement, and upkeep of applicant forecasting for the British Army. You will contribute to establishing a reliable and effective process that yields prompt, precise, and trustworthy results.

You will be responsible for the weekly short-term planning, including the upkeep of forecasting and planning models, guaranteeing that the recruitment operation has adequate resources to fulfill demand, and meeting the contractual commitments of the recruitment partnership.

Job Description

What you’ll be doing:

  • Enhancing and maintaining forecasting and business planning functions to maximise accuracy
  • Supporting senior management to formulate actual and future resource requirements
  • Enhancing and maintaining forecast variance reporting
  • Formulating future resource requirements for each of our clients
  • Processing large, complex datasets and KPI Tracking
  • Actioning data requests and building dashboards

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience within a Data/Forecasting role
  • Advanced MS Excel, VBA, skills (SQL and PowerBI would be desirable)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good Stakeholder management
  • Knowledge of configuring and designing data to report solutions to meet requirements
  • Must be able to be cleared to UK SC level
